The Maria Rose International Doll Museum and Cultural Center

A journey around the world begins with a single step into The Maria Rose International Doll Museum and Cultural Center. Come explore the cultures of diverse people represented by dolls from many countries and continents. Admire the beauty of dolls collected for over 40 years, which reflect world travel. There is a quaint English Village complete with a Lionel Train set. Learn how the heritage of each culture can enrich your life and broaden your horizons. The Maria Rose International Doll Museum Collection is housed in historical  St. Albans, New York. The collection of dolls consists of more than 500 dolls acquired by Naida Njoku, R.N., M.Ed. -- the museum's founder and director. Her greatest desire is to educate others about people of the world by exposing them to the panorama of dolls on exhibit. In the age of technology, the world is getting smaller. We all need to know how to communicate with people of different cultures. Reawaken the child in you, as we look to the past and prepare for the future at The Maria Rose International Doll Museum and Cultural Center. Naida Njoku is the Proprietor and Director of The Maria Rose International Doll Museum. The Museum hours of operation for exhibits are: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Hours are 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm or by special appointments for groups. For additional information, call 718-276-3454 or 917-817-8653, or send an e-mail to naida187@aol.com.
